Watch Spider-Man: No Way Home Deleted Scene Behind-the-Scenes Video

Spider-Man: No Way Home has Tom Holland starring alongside his brother Harry, an achievement any decent family man would be proud of, at one point. Ultimately, the movie’s creators had other ideas. According to Tom’s latest remarks on The Graham Norton Show, Harry Holland’s part has been omitted from the final version of the movie.

Although Harry Holland was omitted from the final edit of Spider-Man: No Way Home, his stunts have been made available to the public for everyone to see on the Internet. On Sunday, a video showed Holland’s “robber” figure hanging from equipment that functioned as a stand-in for Spider-trademark Man’s webs started circulating on social media.

Before Harry got all webbed up, the older Holland’s Peter Parker was shown to be following him down. The video below shows the web slinger’s stunts in action.

To promote the picture, Tom Holland stated that his brother’s role had been axed weeks before it opened in theatres.

“We cast Harry and he’s onset. I go up to the stunt coordinator and I’m like, ‘Please just whatever you do with the stunt, make it so he’s upside down.’ We’re doing the scene. Harry’s upside down swinging back and forth. Bless him, he’s doing a really good job,” Holland recalled with a chuckle. “And as the day’s going on he’s got these lines and he’s starting to forget his lines and his eyes are about to pop out of his head.”

As a result, the Marvel hero went on to commend his younger brother for taking on such a challenge.

“So we’re driving home that day and I was actually really proud of him. But he’s driving home that day and he’s like ‘Mate you can complain as much as you want. That is brutal,'” Tom added. “But the icing on the cake, and I don’t think he actually knows this. We saw the film the other day. And they’ve cut the scene. It’s not in the film.”

To get the better of his younger sibling, Holland informed Jimmy Fallon that he was deliberately prolonging the situation.

“At the beginning of the day, I was making the takes extra, extra long just to see how long it would take before he blacked out,” Holland said earlier this year. “But then towards the end of the day, I really did start to get worried about him. And I was sort of saying to the director, ‘Listen, man, we got to move on now. Look at him, he can hardly speak anymore.'”

Spiderman: No Way Home becomes the biggest film on the box office

Movie theatres were generally closed at the start of the year but had a huge hit by the conclusion. Sony Pictures’ Marvel sequel No Way Home took in an expected $52.7 million, bringing its total to $609.9 million after three weeks. As of writing, No Way Home’ has now grossed more than $1.37 billion worldwide, earning the rank of 12th highest-grossing picture of all time. This weekend, Spider-Man: No Way Home added an extra $131 million to its worldwide box office tally, even though China and Japan have yet to distribute the picture.

“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” is Covid-19’s second highest-grossing tentpole behind “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which took in $224 million nationally. In India, Spider-Man: No way Home has already garnered over 200 crores and is now the highest-grossing flick of 2021. Since its premiere in theatres on December 16, the movie has taken in 202.34 crore rupees in India.

Sing 2, the animated sequel from Universal Pictures, came in second place during the weekend. On its second weekend, it earned $19.6 million in ticket sales, bringing its total to $89.7 million for the two weeks. Given that family films aimed at older audiences seem to be the slowest to recover from the epidemic, this is a good sign. It took in an additional $54.9 million in other countries. It is expected to be the most popular animated film coming out of the pandemic.

Spider-Man: No Way Home’ also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, and other notables. Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire, two actors most known for their roles as Spider-Man (thanks to multiverse) also appear in the film.

Spider-Man: No way home is now showing in theatres and fans and critics are deeming it the best non-avenger movie yet. But that’s the story for some another day.

Hideo Kojima Teases “Radical” New Project

For the dawn of the new year, Hideo Kojima, The Mind-blowing and brilliant creator of Death Stranding and Metal gear Solid: Phantom Pain revealed his plans to start work on an experimental and interesting project in 2022 in a Twitter tweet he published. For the past few months and a half, speculation has been rife on what the Death Stranding creator plans to do next. A horror game may be in the works, as the guy has hinted in the past, but nothing has been verified as of right now.

There are several clues from Hideo Kojima indicating that the company’s forthcoming game would have innovative concepts, some of which are based on theories about player-specific data.

In a September 2021 discussion with the Japanese journal Anan, for example, the famed designer revealed that he would like to build an experience that may change depending on a user’s specified location and ideas about the game.

New Year’s letter from game director Kojima suggests that the notion of the real-time effects might be explored further when he returns to gaming in future projects.

Hideo Kojima said in a tweet to ring in the new year that he will begin work on a new project in earnest in 2022. Even though there aren’t any specifics given in the message, supporters can anticipate him to “advance towards the next degree of experimentation with a daring project.”

The tweet also mentions that Kojima is preparing his video crew and plans to launch his radio show. According to the way Kojima Productions has set up a TV and Music Section, the media team may be focusing on the former, while the music division may be linked to the latter. The video team of Kojima could also be engaged with undisclosed game elements, although this is just conjecture at the moment.

The complete text of the post is as follows:

This year, I’m going to start a new work in earnest and move to the next level of experimentation with a radical project. I’m also hoping to get the video team going. And I may start doing something like a radio project?

Considering his alleged plans for Konami’s scrapped Silent Hills game and his usage of the term “radical” appears to have wide-ranging implications. An ex-developer on the canceled project claims that for the haunting of Silent Hills to persist beyond the bounds of the virtual world, players would have been required to sign an agreement allowing access to their emails and mobile devices.

His recent reference to real-time alterations, paired with this thought, suggests that Kojima’s desire to merge the two worlds has not waned.

For Kojima’s latest release, there’s a new Death Stranding: Director’s Cut for PlayStation 5 that includes several new features, including improved graphics and gameplay. Three-dimensional sound support, widescreen mode, enhanced fighting mechanics, and race circuits were just a few of the new features offered.

Huge Fire Devastates South African Parliament

0

JOHANNESBURG— The historic location in the heart of Cape Town was severely damaged in a huge fire that ravaged South Africa’s parliament building.

Firefighters were called to the Old Assembly area of the building just after 6 a.m. local time on Sunday, according to council member JP Smith, who is in command of security and safety in Cape Town. Several hours later, more than 70 firemen were still battling the incident, and the structure was still on fire.

The minister of public works, Patricia De Lille, said that police had detained a 49-year-old man for interrogation. By entering through a rear window, the guy entered the legislative area, according to South African officials.

According to Cape Town fire and rescue spokesperson Jermaine Carelse, the fire went from the Old Assembly through into the legislative building’s working areas, including offices and the gymnasium, prompting the roof to fall.

“It is not possible to see whether it’s damaged. We hope it is not because it has so many historical artefacts, but you can’t gain access to it without breaking the doors down and we don’t want to do that. Said Mr. Smith

The dense smoke and fallen ceiling of the National Assembly area, which was constructed in the 1920s, put firemen in danger. The complex is a registered historic property in the heart of Cape Town and serves as the South African government’s primary legislative headquarters.

The Old Assembly suffered extensive damage in a fire that broke out in March of last year, destroying committee rooms, and offices.

Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of South Africa, described the development as “devastating news.”

“This is devastating, coming as it does a day after our send-off for Archbishop Desmond Tutu,” the president’s office commented. “Waking up to the destruction of Parliament is a terrible setback from what we were basking in yesterday.”

After winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his global battle to remove South Africa’s racist laws, charismatic clergyman Desmond Tutu, who coined the phrase “Rainbow Nation” to represent South Africa’s hope for a multicultural democracy, died on December 26 at the age of 90. On Saturday, a burial service was performed in honor of him.

Ms. De Lille alleged that the sprinklers did not function because the building’s drainage valves had been manually cut off. An inquiry was launched when closed-circuit cams failed to pick up on an intruder.

Support staff employed at the legislative precinct were ordered not to work extra hours during the holiday season due to financial restrictions, according to Themba Gubula, spokeswoman for the National Education, Health, and Allied Workers’ Union. The origin of the blaze has not been determined by South African officials.

In February, the parliament hosts the president’s yearly address on the status of the nation. Mr. Ramaphosa’s speech may require a new location.

Emily in Paris: Ukraine’s Minister Complains Over Kyiv Character Stereotype

0

A Minister from Ukraine has called out the popular Netflix show Emily in Paris because of its controversial portrayal of a Ukrainian.

Oleksandr Tkachenko, the Minister of Culture of Ukraine has labeled the depiction of a character in the show as “Insulting”. Petra played by Daria Panchenko is the supposed character who is a woman from Keiv in the show.

Petra’s Character

Emily in Paris is a Comedy-Drama Netflix Show that features Emily Cooper played by Lily Collins who goes to Paris for her job as a marketing executive.

Season 2 of the show was released last month and in its fourth episode, we are introduced to the character of Petra who attempts shoplifting while shopping with Emily.

Petra is portrayed as a person who has a poor sense of fashion and she constantly fears being deported.

Tkachenko vented on Telegram: “In Emily in Paris, we have a caricature of a Ukrainian woman that is unacceptable. It is also insulting, is this how Ukrainians will be seen abroad? Who steals, wants to get everything for free, be afraid of deportation? This should not be so.”

Reports from Ukrainian media suggest that the minister sent a letter complaining about the same thing to Netflix. In turn, Tkachenko said that Netflix’s reply to his concern was “quite diplomatic”.

The Reaction of People on Social Media

The reaction of some people was in support of the minister of culture while some were purely criticizing his concern.

Eugenia Havrylko’s post got shared on the official account of Ukraine, Ukraine.ua that said: “I feel like this cannot be ignored … Being the most successful Netflix show in 2021, knowing your influence on millions of minds and hearts all over the world, there is still a place for such ignorance and intolerance?”

On the other hand, Natalka Yakymovych, A Ukrainian Actor and Film Producer criticized Tkachenko’s complaint and said: “So, in a TV series, negative characters can be anything but Ukrainian? We all would like her to be from Moscow, but you don’t always get what you want.”

Not the First Rodeo

This is not the first time the Golden Globe-nominated show has been called out. In the first season, the show received complaints from French critics who called the show “insulting” toward the French people.

Charles Martin, a critic at Premiere wrote: “In Emily in Paris, we learn that the French are ‘all bad’ (yes, yes), that they are lazy and never arrive at the office before the end of the morning, that they are flirtatious and not really attached to the concept of loyalty, that they are sexist and backward, and of course, that they have a questionable relationship with showering. Yes, no cliche is spared, not even the weakest.”

To this, Darren Star, the creator of the show said that he was “not sorry for looking at Paris through a glamorous lens”.

Do you think the concern of Oleksandr Tkachenko makes sense? Let us know in the comments!

Top US Phone Firms Reject Request to Delay 5G Rollout

0

Looks like there are still some ifs and buts to deal with before 5G can roll out.

A formal request by the US government to delay the rollout of 5G technology was flat out rejected by two major phone firms. This happened after US Airlines reached out to the Federal Aviation Administration about the fact that the new 5G rollout could harm aviation.

In response to this, the head of the Federal Aviation Administration, Steve Dickson, and US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg sent a joint letter to the two big phone firms AT&T and Verizon which was rejected by both firms.

The Contents of the Request by the US Government

The joint letter by Steve Dickson and Pete Buttigieg formally requested AT&T and Verizon to delay the commercial rollout of the 5G network for two weeks. The 5G services introduction by the two firms was due for 5th January.

The letter addressed how the Aviation industry has raised concern that the 5G network can cause potential interference to sensitive aircraft electronics that include radio altimeters. This interference could disrupt flights or cause even more serious problems.

The plane manufacturers also warned that C-Band spectrum 5G wireless signals could rise to interfere with aircraft electronics.

The Reply from AT&T and Verizon

Hans Vestberg and John Stankey, the CEOs of Verizon Communications and AT&T respectively also denied the request by the US government through a joint letter.

The contents of the joint letter by the two CEOs implied that the proposal by the US Government and the FAA to delay the introduction of 5G services to the world was “an irresponsible abdication of the operating control required to deploy world-class and globally competitive communications networks.”

However, AT&T and Verizon did not deny the request completely and assured them that they will deploy a temporary safeguard for now. In doing so, they claimed that they will not be deploying 5G services around airports for 6 months.

This approach by the two firms is eerily similar to the approach which has been adopted in France.

The letter mockingly said: “The laws of physics are the same in the United States and France. If US airlines are permitted to operate flights every day in France, then the same operating conditions should allow them to do so in the United States.”

However, FAA replied that the power levels of 5G being used by firms in France are of lower levels as compared to the US.

The negotiations are still underway and for now, US Airlines is requesting formal cooperation between the US Federal Communications Commission, FAA, and the telecom industries. Otherwise, the airline group will approach the court if FAA does not take any actions soon.

Things are heating up for now and a mutual understanding is yet to be achieved.

Rapper Dr Dre pays $100 million to wife for Divorce Settlement

0

American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur Dr. Dre has decided to officially end his marriage with his ex-wife Nicole Young. The divorce has been granted but it’s costing the rapper a hefty amount. According to reports Dr. Dre has been directed to pay his wife Young $100 million, The payment will be in 2 installments of $50 million each.

Dre and Young have been married for 26 years now. In July 2021 the couple announced the divorce. This is Nicole’s second separation. The last time Dre and his soon-to-be-ex-wife were spotted together was at a Tom Ford fashion show in February 2020. Nicole was rumoured to be demanding $2 million per month in spousal support in September 2020. However, in October, a judge determined that the rapper did not have to pay $1.5 million in security fees to his ex-wife.

About the Unfortunate Divorce

Dre’s net worth is estimated to be $820 million. Nicole didn’t get half because of a prenuptial agreement that she fought. Dre gets to keep seven of their properties, including a Malibu home, two Calabasas homes, and four properties in the Los Angeles area, including the $100 million Brentwood residence.

Dre also receives complete ownership of his master recordings, trademarks, and stakes in different partnerships and trusts. He also owns all of their Apple stock, including the proceeds from the Beats by Dre transaction. They split a fleet of vehicles, with he getting six and she getting four.

Nicole is responsible for her own legal bills, which are in the millions of dollars. There are also some storage lockers stocked with belongings from their numerous residences. Dre had put the belongings in storage, and she is entitled to keep everything inside that was hers, according to the deal.

She is entitled to keep the jewellery, cash, and bank accounts she possessed throughout the marriage. The agreement eliminates Young’s right to get spousal support, which was a contentious issue during the divorce.

Reason Behind the Couple’s Split

Dre’s alleged affair with Kili Anderson originally surfaced in 2013, with conjecture spreading that the two have a kid together. Since last year, Dr. Dre has been embroiled in a contentious divorce fight with estranged wife Nicole Young, and things appear to have become even uglier.

The relationship between the music entrepreneur and his alleged mistress, Kili Anderson, as well as their rumoured love child, has come to light. Young’s legal team has requested that Jillian Steer, Kili Anderson, and Crystal Rogers, her former partner’s alleged mistresses, be deposed in the divorce proceedings.

Dre’s name appears in a case filed against Anderson and her company Body Bakery for illegally terminating an employee, according to unseen court records obtained in 2019.

Anderson is said to have “been in a relationship with the famous rapper Dr. Dre, with whom she had a child, and as a result, she required all at-will employees to sign a confidentiality agreement that they would not pry into her life and would keep all things they learned about her life private,” according to the papers. The Couple is said to have two children a son and a daughter.
