San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD) has named Debbie Johnson, Administrative Assistant II for Technology Services, the 2019 Classified School Employee of the Year (CSEY). Debbie has been part of the SDUHSD team since 1993 and in her current role for over 18 years. She is recognized for her positive attitude, patience, problem-solving skills, and student-focused service. She will now advance to the San Diego County-wide CSEY Program.

Each of the 10 SDUHSD sites, along with district departments, recognized an outstanding member of their team as part of the annual CSEY Program. Carmel Valley school honorees included: Caroline Moroney, Administrative Assistant II (Canyon Crest Academy); Catherine Pavnic, Learning Commons Technician (Torrey Pines High School); Roberta Blank, Administrative Assistant III (Carmel Valley Middle School); and Shannon Cary, Secretary (Pacific Trails Middle School). District department honorees included: Rocky Clark, Instructional Assistant (Special Education); Sam Flores, Maintenance Worker II (Maintenance and Operations); Jose “Saul” Villasenor, Nutrition Services Assistant II (Nutrition Services); and Debbie Windle, Dispatcher (Transportation Services).
