Breakfast Republic
, a San Diego County brunch and breakfast favorite, recently opened its sixth location in The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch. The popular spot is known for its specialty lattes, morning cocktails, and unique twists on classic breakfast staples. Other dining options at The Village include Westroot Tavern, Crudo, and Dolce at the Highlands, among others.

Del Mar recently welcomed its first brewery and restaurant, Viewpoint Brewing Co., located on the banks of the San Dieguito Lagoon and River Park, just north of Del Mar Village and within eyeshot of the Fairgrounds. The open-air joint features more than just beer, however, with brunch, light bites, and full-service dinner on the menu.
