San Diego Math Field Day was held at The Bishop’s School in La Jolla at the end of May. The event featured showings from schools around San Diego, with about 250 students participating, as well as over 30 volunteers and around 100 parents and coaches in attendance. There were nine events for up to 15 students from each school to participate in. Carmel Valley Middle School won the first place award and Pacific Trails Middle School won third place. Linette Pan, Rachel Hong, and Jae Yoon Kim were the lead organizers this year, along with the guidance of Shiv Keyal, Reed Moore, and Carol Barry.
