Local Real Estate Firm Gives Back to San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation
After the destruction of the San Diego wildfires, Kilroy Realty Corporation, a commercial real estate owner in Carmel Valley, donated $10,000 to the San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation. Many of the real estate firm’s employees were directly affected by the fire, or knew someone who was affected themselves. Kilroy Realty Development Manager and member of the Carmel Valley Community Planning Board, Brian Brady, spearheaded the donation as a way to give back to the community.
The San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation supports local first responders with the equipment needed during an emergency including technology, equipment and more. This past June, Kilroy Realty received a tour of Fire Station 24 to see how their donation will impact the community.
