College Nannies + Tutors will be offering special workshops and free ACT/SAT practice tests this summer. Take a look and get your study on.

Free ACT/SAT Practice Tests Are Back at College Tutors This Summer

If you’re a junior or senior and college is in your future, summer is the time to think about admissions exams. All colleges require either and ACT or SAT score to accompany applications and preparation for these exams during the slower pace of summer is smart thinking.

“College admissions tests should be taken seriously by students because they can bolster a college application if scores align with the student’s academic achievement. In some cases, schools will offer scholarships for scores that are in the top five to ten percentile,” stated College Tutors’ General Manager Kali Cascarano. “College Tutors offers free practice tests – and possibly more importantly — an individualized results consultation to provide valuable feedback to help students understand just where they fall on the admissions path.”

The Free Practice ACT or SAT will be given on June 24, July 10, July 24, Aug. 7 and Aug. 14 at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at College Tutors’ Del Mar Learning Centers. Individual appointments can also be set by calling College Tutors.

College Tutors mimics the setting and timing of the actual tests. Tests will be scored by College Tutors and a free, individual consultation for parents and student will be scheduled to share results, as well as areas of strength and weakness.

“The value of knowing your benchmark score on an ACT or SAT – without having to take it under real testing conditions — is that it is a more accurate predictor of a student’s capability on these tests than the PLAN or PSAT,” said Cascarano. “Our review and consultation is what sets College Tutors’ Practice Test apart from other practice attempts. The score only shows part of the data. Knowing how that score was attained and what parts are strong versus weak is invaluable,” confirmed Cascarano.
