Danceology Presents the New Academy of Classical Ballet
Danceology Performing Arts Campus in 4S Ranch is pleased to announce their newest addition to the studio, the Danceology Academy of Classical Ballet (DACB). Located within the same 4S Ranch studio location, this new Academy will provide more rigorous training and availability for competitive dancers, modeled after the Vagonova Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. At the helm will be Artistic Director Elena Baltovick and Executive Director Nicole Lucia, both bringing their years of dedication and dance experience to oversee this new Academy.
Michelle Maasz described DACB as a very concentrated and small group of ballet dancers who will train together for hours every week and will be focused on building their classical technique. They will train in Pilates, Classical Ballet, Pointe, and work on their own solos and group pieces for Youth America Grand Prix (a major international ballet competition). DACB dancers will represent versatility in both classical and contemporary ballet styles.
Master ballet teachers will be invited to DACB to work with the students, preparing these young dancers for auditions in traineeship, professional companies or dance conservatories after high school. At this time, only ten to fifteen spaces will be open for applying dancers, and they must be between ages 10 and 13.
