Ingredients

6 ounces Canadian bacon (a fun alternative is spicy bacon)
1/2 onion
1/4 stick of butter
1 can bean with bacon soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 vegetarian vegetable soup
1 can of corn (drained)
2 cans of water

Directions

  1. Sautee bacon and onion in butter until onions are translucent.
  2. Add:
    1 can bean with bacon soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can vegetarian vegetable soup
    1 can of corn (drained)
    2 cans of water
  3. Mix together and serve warm.

About the Recipe: This is straight comfort food. It’s quick and easy to make and remember the ingredients when you are at the store. Kids love it with warm bread, and it’s perfect after a day of skiing!

About the Chef: I have been the music teacher at Horizon Christian Prep since 2002, and I currently teach on the preschool campus. In 2009, my husband, Christian, and I opened up Leading Note Studios in Encinitas. We manage over 240 students and twelve teachers covering all instruments (brass, wind, percussion and strings) to all ages (infants to adults). My husband and I have been married for twenty years.
