On Nov. 3, a team from South Coast Training Stables (SCTS) competed in the Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Association Championship Show. Trainer/Owner Jessica Odom and Assistant Trainer Lacy Norris took six of their students to this year’s event. Riders in Hunters and Jumpers compete all year to attain enough points to participate in this week’s Championship Show. All SCTS students placed in their individual classes, as well as winning Championship and Reserve Championship Honors.

Many of the kids who competed are 92130 residents. The girls from SCTS represent Carmel Valley Middle School, Torrey Pines High School, Canyon Crest Academy, La Jolla Country Day, and Sage Canyon Elementary.

The Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Association is dedicated to promoting the development of Hunter Jumper competition in the San Diego area. The association provides for the organization of competition between riders, horses and professionals across shows.
