The City of San Diego, together with other responsible agencies, needs your help to develop new strategies for improving water quality in the San Diego Region. A Water Quality Improvement Plan is being developed for the San Dieguito River Watershed that will include strategies for identifying and addressing high priority water quality concerns in this area.

The new plan will be developed following a two year public input process and consideration by stakeholders in the San Dieguito River Watershed. The plan is being developed by the agencies responsible for protecting water quality in the San Dieguito River Watershed, including the cities of San Diego, Del Mar, Escondido, Poway and Solana Beach along with the County of San Diego.

A meeting will be held to collect public input about the high priority water quality concerns in the San Dieguito Watershed on Sept. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the City of Poway Council Chambers (13325 Civic Center Drive).
